Daniel is one of the most well known prophets of the Bible. He was taken captive by the Babylonians at a young age and subsequently provided the king a Babylon with both divine interpretations of dreams, as well as, powerful displays of faith. It is estimated that the book was written in sixth century BCE by Daniel.
